The winery’s benchmark expression, with an elegance that showcases Argiano’s unique terroir. 100% Sangiovese from marl and limestone soils. Estate grown. Organic. 270-320m asl. Aged in 10-50 hectoliter barrels for more than two years. 

Vintage notes from the winemaker: Hot winter, infrequent rainfall, but sufficient for water requirements. June and July were perfect, characterised by some rain and a beautiful temperature range. The end of July and the beginning of August were very hot weeks, with the vineyards reacting very well without going into water stress. A rainfall at the end of the summer allowed for a gradual and homogeneous ripening.
