2023 Argiano ‘NC’

Made in the Super Tuscan tradition, NC (short for the latin phrase ‘non confuditur,’ meaning, unique) is a versatile blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Sangiovese. Organic. Aged for just a few months in second and third-use barriques.

Vintage Notes from the Winemaker: The 2023 vintage is characterized by a challenging start with abundant rainfall and lower-than-average spring temperatures, followed by a hot, dry summer that brought temperatures back to normal and allowed for healthy grape ripening. This resulted in wines with fresh fruit flavors, good acidity, and a balanced structure. Very pleasant fruity notes with a spicy finish. Very broad in the mouth, soft and enveloping, with a pleasant freshness and silky tannins.
