2022 Allegrini Valpolicella

2022 was a vintage of extremes compared to the previous year. Dry conditions as early as February and March caused early development, about 20 days ahead of schedule. August rainfall brought welcome relief, reversing the course of the vintage. A harvest hailstorm caused damage to many in Valpolicella, but Allegrini’s vineyards were largely unharmed. Harvest concluded in late September.
