2020 Brancaia Ilatraia

A mild winter gave way to early budbreak, followed by a late March cold snap. Thankfully, this had little effect on yields. Throughout the rest of the season, the phenological development of the vines was regular, with average temperatures and modest precipitation. The otherwise warm and dry summer resulted in grapes with high sugar content, but balanced with optimal acidity and pH. The grapes were excellent at harvest.
