Dedicato a Walter, made from 100% Cabernet Franc, stands at the pinnacle of the Poggio al Tesoro portfolio. This single-vineyard, monovarietal wine is dedicated to Walter Allegrini, one of the founders of the estate who passed away in 2003. The 7 hectare vineyard extends "Soprastrada" above Via Bolgherese and is recognized as the most prestigious in the entire appellation. The estate grown wine is intense and spicy with notes of red fruit and silky tannins. Organic. 30 year old vines. Aged for 2 years in new barriques.
