2016 Allegrini Fieramonte

Allegrini’s top bottling is a rich and powerful single-vineyard Amarone Riserva. A blend of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Oseleta from 415m above sea level. Aged in barriques.

Vintage Notes from the Winemaker: Vintage 2016 was characterized by positive climatic conditions, despite above-average rainfall in spring. The marked differences in day-to-night temperatures during veraison, combined with the considerable water reserves accumulated during spring, helped maintain acidity and facilitated the development of varietal characteristics. A ‘slow’ harvest in ideal weather conditions allowed the grapes to achieve perfect ripening at a gradual pace. Vintage 2016 promises to be one of the best years ever, outstanding for its great balance and elegance.
